Delete Your Account
Request the removal of your dgtt account and all associated data.
How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your dgtt account, send an email to the address below from the email associated with your account (your Google or Apple sign-in email).
Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 days.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile — display name, email, and timezone
- Authentication credentials — your Google or Apple sign-in link
- Group memberships — you are removed from all groups
- Push notification tokens — device tokens for notifications
- Notification history — your in-app notifications
- Notification preferences — your per-type toggle settings
What Is Retained
Certain data created as part of group activity is retained to preserve the experience for other group members:
- Votes you cast — recorded votes remain part of completed voting sessions
- Comments and reactions — contributions to group discussions are kept
- Items you added — links and items added to categories remain available to the group
This retained data is disassociated from your identity after deletion. It will no longer be linked to your name or email.
